Norman, Wood, Kendrick & Turner and its predecessors have represented clients throughout Alabama since the 1930’s. Following service in World War II, Robert D. Norman and Marshall Fitzpatrick joined the firm and created the mold for what the firm has become. Today the firm represents corporations, from Fortune 500 companies to local businesses, as well as insurance interests in a broad spectrum of litigation. Our lawyers have always been active trial lawyers.
Mr. Wood was a member of the faculty of the Defense Counsel Trial Academy in Boulder, Colorado, and he was elected as a director of both the International Association of Defense Counsel and the Defense Research Institute. Mr. Kendrick is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Mr. Turner is a member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel. All three were named “SuperLawyers” for 2008. Mr. Williams is Board Certified by the American Board of Certification in Business Bankruptcy Law and also in Creditor’s Rights Law. The late Mr. Norman was a past president of the Birmingham Bar Association and the International Association of Defense Counsel.
